How to deposit money into your account

Automatically depositing money into your account is the first step to helping your organization make the world a better place. As a bonus, when you make deposits totaling at least $750 per month, your monthly maintenance fee is waived.
Helpful Hint: Use the following amounts and frequency to maximize your impact:

$800 – Monthly

$400 – Bi-weekly

$200 – Weekly

Direct Deposit Payroll

Set-up direct deposit through your employer to keep a steady balance and allow you to shop, swipe & support change.

Step 1:  Find Your Direct Deposit Number

  1. Open the mobile app.  Click here to download it https://groundswellcard.com/mobile
  2. Login to your account (To create an account; click First Time User? Enroll Now)
  3. Click on the Three Menu Lines at the top left hand corner of the screen
  4. Select Direct Deposit
  5. Record your routing and account numbers.
  1. Go to https://groundswellcard.com and click Login  (Note: if you have not created an online or mobile account yet, you will need to click Create Account)
  2. Login to your account.  
  3. On the left hand side of the screen under “Easy Navigation” click the “Direct Deposit Form” link.
  4. Print or save the pdf containing your routing and account numbers. 
Step 2:  Contact Your Human Resources or Payroll Department and provide your new direct deposit information.  

 

Step 3:  Your money will be available in your account on payday.

Send from Your Bank

If you are not able to deposit your paycheck into multiple accounts, you can send money directly from your bank account.

Step 1:  Locate Your Routing and Account Number

  1. Open the mobile app.  Click here if you need to download it https://groundswellcard.com/mobile
  2. Login to your account (To create an account; click First Time User? Enroll Now)
  3. Click on the Three Menu Lines at the top left hand corner of the screen
  4. Select Direct Deposit
  5. Record your routing account numbers.

  2. Login to your account.  
  3. Click on Money Center on the left side of the page
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the Direct Deposit Form section.  
  5. Print or save your routing account numbers.
Step 2:  Login to your bank account. Look for an option that indicates sending money. Follow you on screen instructions. Note: ZelleⓇ does not support sending money to your account and you cannot send wires, so you will have to make sure you select a direct deposit option.

Step 3:  Your money will typically be available in your account in 2-3 business days.

Pull From Your Bank

If sending money from your bank account or your financial institution creates a challenge, you can use the mobile app or the website to pull money from your account. We pay a fee each time you do this, but we offer this service to you for no fee.

Step 1:  Find Your Routing and Account Number for your bank account.   If you do not have your checkbook, login to your financial institutions website and look for your Direct Deposit Number.

Step 2:  Login to the Mobile App or Website

  1. Open the mobile app.  Click here if you need to download it https://groundswellcard.com/mobile
  2. Login to your account (To create an account; click First Time User? Enroll Now)
  3. Click on the Tile that reads, “Add Money/Bank Account
  1. Go to https://groundswellcard.com and click the Login Button (To create an account; click First Time User? Enroll Now)
  2. Login to your account.  
  3. You will be able to load funds from your bank account on the main screen.   

Step 3: If you are not already enrolled in the AutoDeposit or AutoRefill program, enter your Routing and Account Number. Make sure to check the box, Save My Information.

Step 4: Enter the amount you wish to add.

Step 5: Click Get Money. We will send the request to your financial institution right away but it could take up to 3 business days for the money to be available in your account.

Step 6: Make sure you never run out of money in your account by enrolling in our AutoDeposit and/ or AutoRefill program.

 

Deposit Cash Into Your Account

To deposit cash into your account, there are several convenient partners that will help you do this. Note: we do not charge a fee for this service, but our partners may.

Step 1:  Find a convenient location from list below.  

  1. Western Union:  Typically in retail locations such as Kroger, Safeway, Pubilx, Stop & Shop, and Meijers, etc.
  2. MoneyGram:  Typically in retail locations such as Walmart, CVS,
  3. Visa ReadyLink:  Typically in retail locations such as Target, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart and 7-Eleven.

*Some retail locations only allow cash loads during the daytime.

Step 2:  Walk up to the customer service desk or cashier at the location with your card and cash in hand.  Tell the worker that you would like to load cash to your account using the service you selected above.  Many retail locations support multiple partners so we recommend telling them how much you want to load and asking for the cheapest option.  

Step 3:  You will hand the cashier the cash, and the cashier will load the net your cash minus any fees that the retail location charges on your account.

Step 4:  Your money will typically be available in your account immediately, but on occasion it may take up to 30 minutes before the retail location sends us the deposit.
