Fees are a bummer

Our goal is to help you avoid them whenever possible. Here are some tips on how make that happen.

Deposit $750 a Month

We cut a deal to waive your monthly maintenance fee if you deposit at least $750 a month into your account.
Pretty sweet, huh?
The easiest way to do that is through direct deposit, but you can also set up direct transfers from your bank as well.

Use Your Card for Purchases

Making a withdraw from an ATM means you’ll be assessed a fee and it doesn’t benefit your cause – so you may not want to use this card for cash.  
But…
If you really need to get cash from your card, using cash back at the store when you make a purchase is the better alternative.

Know your balance

Before you make a purchase, be sure there are enough funds in your account. If there isn’t enough money in your account then the transaction will decline and a fee can be assessed.
To check your balance before making a purchase, you can:

  1. Text Message – Text “bal” to 91887 and receive your balance immediately – standard carrier rates may apply.
  2. Website – Go to www.groundswellcard.com, login and get your balance
  3. Mobile App – Download the mobile app to check your balance

In summary:

  1. Download the mobile app so you always know your balance.
  2. Use the card to buy stuff wherever Visa® Debit is accepted
  3. Cumulatively deposit more than $750 each month
